DivX Releases Version for Mac

DivX, Inc., which produces the DivX codec and player, has released a version of its software that's compatible with the Macintosh platform. This software provides Mac users with free, full-screen playback of DivX videos on the desktop of through a browser; and affords them the ability to convert movies into the DivX format for playback on DivX-certified DVD players, portable media players, or other devices. The DivX for Mac 6.5 software is available for download at www.divx.com.
