VisionQuest, an ODM (original design manufacturer) entered the Canadian marketplace last year, and currently offers a diverse product line-up ranging from LCD TVs to digital photo frames, patio heaters, Blu-ray players, and PCs. At the 2009 International CES, the company will venture into yet another new territory: LCD projectors.

CES 2008: Industry Comes Together at Canada Night

With all the meetings and demonstrations, it's nice to have a night of fun and (hopefully) relaxation. Canada Night 2008, our gathering of Canada industry members (and their U.S. and international counterparts) was a great success last night. I must admit: with Vegas looking oddly quiet this year, I was expecting Canada Night attendance to be down. But judging from the packed Caesar's Palace ballroom and outer hall area, that certainly wasn't the case.

He was known simply as "Bubbles," and for consumer electronics industry members that frequented RAOs in Caesar's Palace during CES every year (not to mention other trade shows that took place in Sin City), the passing of host Robert "Bubbles" Ubriaco last week will undoubtedly elicit gasps of disbelief and a wave of sadness among the many Canadians who knew the charismatic man.
