Hands-on Review: SmrtCase SmrtWallet for iPhone
I first came across SmrtCase, a mobile phone accessory manufacturer based in New Brunswick, NJ, back in April whilst strolling the back alleys at CTIA WIRELESS 2010. The interesting design of the polymer Glide case, which incorporates a card slot on its back (more on this below) is what first caught my eye. But after perusing through the rest of the tiny booth, the item I really fell in love with was the SmrtWallet, a faux leather sleeve that doubles as a wallet. So you can imagine my excitement when the latter arrived on my desk.

Hands-on Review: Otterbox Defender Series Case for iPad

Warning: if you're one of those design-conscious folks who thinks that any remotely sizeable case for an Apple product is a disgrace to the sleek and sexy construction of the Cupertino company's products, the Otterbox Defender Series case for the iPad is not for you.
OverGeeked: Advance Review of the BlackBerry Presenter

Some of the best presentations are given inside elevators and in the backs of cabs; in intimate spaces where it isn't the audience that's captive, it's the speaker. No podium, no computer screen to hide behind, just a clear space between speaker and listeners, where the faces share ideas and the concepts are more impressive for it.
Hands-On Review: XM SkyDock

There's no question that satellite radio is compelling. It's commercial-free music in a multi-verse of channels that cater to those with discerning tastes and eclectic needs. Few would turn it down if it were free.
Hands-on Review: Asus EE PC 1002HA Netbook PC

The 10-inch Eee PC 1002HA from ASUS for about $500. In most ways, it's a notebook: it runs Windows XP, has a near-full-size keyboard and a full complement of ports: three USB, headphone, microphone, external monitor and Ethernet.
Sanyo R227 Internet Radio

The Sanyo R227 has stereo capability right out of the box, and it's attractively priced, with a list price of $220.
ClarionMIND In-Car Computer

The ClarionMIND was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2007, and started shipping early in 2009. It should be available now through car-audio specialty shops in Canada and will likely turn up in larger electronics chains.
Hands-on Review: ClickFree Portable Back-up Drive

Canadian company Storage Appliance Corp. has promised to make computer back-up simple through its new Clickfree portable hard drives that, as their name implies, are truly plug-and-play devices. Connect one to any PC running Windows Vista/XP/2000 (w/SP 4) via USB and the drive is supposed to instantly back up all the files on your computer, from documents to photos, videos, and even e-mails. Then, just unplug the drive and you're good to go! It all sounds too good to be true, so I thought I'd try one out for myself.
Hands-on Reviews: Garmin nüvi 760 GPS

The middle model of Garmin's premium nüvi 700 series, the 760 features integrated Bluetooth speakerphone. The look is classic Garmin. Its 4.3-inch 480x272-pixel TFT screen is quite nice, even if it looks a bit dated next to some other models. The general design around the screen is basic; a high-capacity SD memory card slot and headphone jack in full view on the left, a USB plug on the underside and the power button housed on the top. The right side is completely barren.
Hands-on Review: HP iPAQ Travel Companion 310 GPS

This is HP's second-generation GPS unit, following up on last year's iPAQ 5900. That model was essentially a Personal Data Assistant (PDA) that incorporated GPS functionality using maps supplied by TomTom. Now HP has developed its own navigation software with TeleAtlas maps, changing much about how the iPAQ 310 Travel Companion looks and how it works.
Hands-on Reviews: Samsung Jack with TeleNav GPS

Rogers Wireless has an exclusive arrangement with TeleNav, an American company that creates maps and mapping software for BlackBerrys and smartphones. I had to download the 1.5MB file onto the Samsung Jack, where it installed automatically.
