After nearly a five-month stay within the International Space Station (ISS), Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield is coming home tonight. And, what better way to end such a journey than to create an epic music video?
In the clip, Hadfield is performing David Bowie's classic track Space Oddity, while actually floating in a tin can. No, no, this isn't a live performance recorded in one shot: this is a spectacularly crafted music video that should (but likely won't) trump PSY's Gangnam Style YouTube most-watched record.
Nevertheless, while we should all give huge thumbs up to Hadfield for conducting over 100 scientific experiments while in space, he also needs to be credited with his willingness to continuously Tweet back to earth, and conduct conversations with school children from his ship.
For now though, take five minutes and check out this glorious video.
