Yesterday, Microsoft Corp. took the stage in New York to officially pull the curtain off of Windows 8. With products based around that OS available today, Canadians can now go pick up a Surface tablet at one of four Microsoft holiday pop-up stores.

The locations of the stores are as follows:

• The Eaton Centre: Toronto, ON
• West Edmonton Mall: Edmonton, AB
• Metropolis at Metrotown: Burnaby, BC
• Oakridge Centre: Vancouver, BC

Microsoft says that store staff will be on-hand to not only answer product related questions, but also to also help customers with Windows RT and Surface setup.

On, Friday, November 16, Microsoft will open up its first permanent retail store at the Yorkdale Centre in Toronto.
