Nike Inc. is releasing its FuelBand wristband to the Canadian market today. Available for $149, this high-tech wristband serves as a fitness monitoring and motivational device that can be synced with one's PC or smartphone.
Last week, the company known for its iconic swoosh, Air Jordan's and wide-range of popular athletic apparel held a launch event for the product at the Glass Factory in Toronto, ON.
Several athletes and fitness enthusiasts were on-hand, including last year's leading National Hockey League goal scorer (with 60), Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
