Shortly after Apple's iPad mini unveiling, late night hosts Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel took some nicely organized pot shots at the company, as well as its devotees.
On Wednesday's edition of Conan on TBS, O'Brien played a spoof of the new iPad mini commercial in which Apple first showed attendees at its product launch on Tuesday.
Without giving too much away here, O'Brien a company fearlessly targets the tech giant by pointing out the obvious in a way that likely can't be done more poignantly, or in a better less-is-more format.
Not to be outdone, Jimmy Kimmel sent one of his staff members to the street with an iPhone (he screwed up in the introduction to the clip and said it was an iPod), told people that it was the iPad mini, and asked for their opinions. Unfortunately for the participants, but fortunately for Kimmel and company, the joke seemed go off without a hitch.
