Mere minutes after Steve Jobs concluded his presentation on the latest and greatest from Apple, including a new iPod Touch, iPod nano, and iPod Shuffle, Oxnard, CA-based Scosche Industries confirmed that it would have eight cases ready for the players by as early as next month.

In total, there will be six new cases for the iPod Touch, and two cases for the new, uber-tiny nano.

For the much slimmer iPod Touch will be a version of Scosche's popular kickBACK case, which incorporates a kickstand for viewing video, or simply propping the device upright on a flat surface, like a table or airplane tray. Made of glossy polycarbonate, it boasts a flexible impact resistant rubber interior. The t4 model will come in black, grey and white with grey molding. The kickBACK for the new iPod Touch will also be available as a bundle with the switchKASE T4, a silicone skin with a removable sport armband.

The switchBACK t4 come in either black or white, but also ship with three interchangeable polycarbonate backs in either blue, red, and black, or pink, purple, and white. Each case features a pair of smooth backs and one with a hinged kickstand for widescreen media viewing.

With a mirrored screen protector in the box will be the new metalliKASE t4, a metallic polycarbonate case that comes in either chrome or dark metallic.

Scosche's beefKASE t4 features a genuine leatherback and a polycarbonate shell. It affords easy access to all buttons and switches on the iPod.

A three-pack of flexible rubber cases will be available for the new Touch. The glosSEE t4 for the touch ships with blue, red and black options.

For the nano will be the tightGRIP cases. Available in packages of three, these are silicone enclosures that provide better grip along with protection. Colour choices will include pink, purple, and clear; or red, blue, and black. The soundKASE n6 is similar, except these are geared toward active individuals by utilizing sweat-proof silicone and neoprene, as well as armbands. As a plus, the armband has a key slot.

In addition to the new cases, Scosche will also be offering three new screen protectors for the iPod Touch gen 4: the anti-glare satinSHIELD t4 will come in pairs; as weill the mirrored proFlect t4. Available in packages of three will be the klearCOAT t4 "ultra-clear" protective films.

Pricing will range from US$14.99 to US$39.99 MSRP. Most items can be purchased online now, but are displaying early October as the ship date.
