Sanus Now Shipping 500 Series A/V Racks

Sanus is now shipping its customizable, 500 Series A/V racks, each of which comes with a fully-assembled heavy-gauge welded steel frame with vented side panels, adjustable feet, and swivel casters.

As part of the Foundations Component , HDpro line, each 500 Series rack is ordered based on the installer's customized needs, and shipped assembled and ready-to-go.

"Installers often need racks they can customize themselves, beyond what an 'out-of-the-box' option provides," says Jason Schmidt, Product Manager at Sanus.

Three 500 Series models are currently available.
Model CFR535 stands 67.5" tall, and has a 35U rack space. Model CFR524 is 47.8" tall, and affords 24U rack space; and CFR518 (shown here with accessories) is 37.5" tall and has 18U rack space. All three racks can accommodate components up to 1,000 lbs. in weight.

Installers can choose from a variety of accessories to include with each rack, including locking acrylic door with solid steel frame; locking solid steel door; locking vented rear door; rear rack rails; 1U, 2U, 3U shelves; 1U, 2U, 3U steel or aluminum blanking panels; 2U or 4U sliding drawers; fan kit; lacing strips; tie bars and wire ties. Additional screws can be ordered in quantities of 25, 100 and 500.
