The Loop is LG's latest Android-based smartphone, a curved device that includes features like a dedicated social networking client and shake controls.

The phone's social network client allows owners to instantly view status updates of friends and family through various social networking Websites; as well as update their own statuses, and communicate with contacts.

Shaking the device will activate the fast forward or rewind function during music or movie playback
Additionally, the phone has a 3MP camera with editing functions built-in, including the ability to tag a photo, or upload them to social networking Websites. It has affords access to push e-mail services, and has WiFi connectivity. A customizable widget affords home screen access to things like breaking news, daily weather reports, stock updates, and social networking details.

As an Android device, the Loop also affords access to all of the standard Android features, including things like YouTube and Gmail, as well as the Android app Marketplace.

The LG Loop is available exclusively through Rogers for $29.99 on a 3-year voice and data plan.
