Kanto's new Yaro is a two-channel audio system that is designed to work with a number of audio sources; from Apple TV, to Mac Mini, Boxee, Roku, the iPod/iPhone, video game consoles, networked music systems, and TVs.
Using ICEpower audio technology by Bang & Olufsen, the Yaro, which consists of an amplifier and speaker set, boasts 2 x 47 watts RMS, and is expandable with a 200 watt 8" subwoofer. It comes with two digital optical audio inputs, a 3.5mm audio input, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack. An optional DAC upgrade will be available in February 2012.
Finished in high-gloss piano black with acoustically-enhanced wood cabinets (the subwoofer in a matte finish), the YAROamp measures 2" x 6.4" x 6.4" and weighs 2.2 lbs., and the YAROspeaker measures 8.9" x 6.4" x 6.4" and weighs 6.6 lbs.
The Yaro system will be available this December for an MSRP of $329.
