Griffin Technology is fast out of the gates with the introduction of its new line of cases designed specifically for the freshly announced iPhone 5C and 5S handsets.
With the 5C coming in an array of colours, Griffin has released the Survivor Clear case for US$29.99. It has a crystal-clear polycarbonate shell with rubber wrapped along the edges and corners. The case's edges are molded for a secure grip and all ports are left uncovered for easy access to controls. The manufacturer plans to release further Survivor iPhone 5C cases, including the Survivor (US$49.99), Survivor Slim (US$39.99) and Survivor Skin (US$19.99).
Also for the 5C is Griffin's "ultra-thin" reveal case. It is constructed out of a translucent polycarbonate shell and has slim rubber edges. It will be available soon in black and hot pink for US$19.99.
Those looking to grab a 5S can opt for Griffin's Separates (US$29.99) fashion collection, which comes in a multitude of colours and patterns. This patent-pending two-piece case has a polycarbonate back plate with a colour-keyed frame to protect the edges and corners. All Separates cases, explains Griffin, are interchangeable with other Separates cases.
