D-Link has debuted what it deems to be the "world's smallest" wireless N USB adapter.

At about the size of a dime, the DWA-121 fits into a computer's USB port, and affords the ability to connect to a WiFi network at up to six times the speed and three times the coverage of a wireless G connection. Speeds are up to 150 Mbps for both upload and download, and the device uses Intelligent Antenna technology to transmit data.

The device is set up using the Quick Setup Wizard, and functions with a Wireless Manager that helps to keep track of recently-accessed networks.

The DWA-121 is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7 operating systems, and is "hardly noticeable when inserted into a laptop or desktop PC," says D-Link CTO AJ Wang.
