'Cool' High Performance Gaming PCs From CyberPower

CyberPower Inc.'s new four-model "Fang Series EVO" line of gaming desktops are designed to optimize and maximize cooling and airflow via the firm's Custom Advanced Hydro Liquid Cooling Kit.
The latter consists of a new XSPC Rasa High Performance Acetal CPU Block combined with a 750lph low noise pump, and a choice of 240MM or 360MM radiators. CyberPower claims that this system provides such cooling for the CPU, multi-high-end graphic cards, and the chipset to ensure "100 per cent performance under any circumstance."

Each of the four Fang Series EVO systems has its own, distinctive case design, festooned with the sort of gaudy wind ports and moulded plastic detainling that attract serious gamers. The Black Mamba has a black Obsidian 800D case from Corsair; the Cobra features the Cooler Master HAF X case; while the Azza Hurricane 2000 and Xion Predator 970 represent the CyberPower Viper and Rattler systems respectively.

Under the hood, the Fang Series EVO PCs are based on powerful Intel Core processors that range from speedy and efficient Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, up to monstrous six Intel Core processors. Furthermore, all Fang Series EVO come standard with Venom Boost Technology that provides over-clocking (30 per cent, or more) to these already fast processors.

The new EVO offers advanced graphics performance from NVIDIA and ATI. The NVIDIA GTX 400 series provides 3D Vision and 3D Vision Surround technology allowing you to experience a total immersive 3D gaming environment while also providing popular NVIDIA technologies such as PhysX and CUDA. The ATI 5000 series graphics cards provide three- and six-monitor support with Eyefinity technology for spectacular gaming. Users can cool down their GPUs with optional liquid cooling versions of high performing GTX and Radeon graphics cards for unmatched performance.

CyberPower says its Max Airflow Package provides maximum cooling with minimal noise via low dBA fans and touch screen fan controllers that give users the ability to manually adjust fan speeds and even allow variable control of individual fans. Users can give their EVO the silent treatment with sound absorbing foam, anti-vibration fan mounts, and power supply gaskets to mitigate system noise.

Other standard Fang Series features include USB 3.0 and SATA 6 for the most current and fastest storage. CyberPower customers can also opt for a solid state drive (SSD) for even faster and quieter performance. Blu-ray optical drives are optional.

All CyberPower PC gaming systems are loaded with Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit Operating System, and come with a three-year limited warranty and free lifetime phone support.
The starting price for the new Fang Series EVO system is US$999. Upgrades and other peripherals are available at the company website:
