Hundreds of Canadians convened once again at the 2010 International CES for Canada Night, where they enjoyed great music (including an impromptu industry member performance!), great food, and, most importantly, great company, with fellow industry members.
The event, which is produced by Bomar Publishing Inc., parent company to Marketnews and here's how! magazines, returned to Caesar's Palace on Friday, January 8. It welcomed key industry personnel from all across Canada, and representing every side of the industry, from flat panels to wireless phones, high-end audio, and imaging.

"It is such a great night, and it has been going on for so long that the industry just gravitates to Canada Night as their meeting place," says Marketnews' John Thomson. "Lots of smiling faces this year, and the room was full of optimism for 2010. It was really fun at the end of the night when Darrell Swanson sat down at the piano for an impromptu sing along (video coming soon!) It gave me the idea that perhaps next year, we should just forget about a band and rent a bunch of acoustic instruments instead. Then, let this talented industry turn Canada Night into one big house party!"
Part and parcel of Canada Night every year is the Marketnews team scouring the ballroom floor to snag shots of all the happy guests.
