CEDIA EXPO 2009: Pioneer Intros iPod Dock

A beautifully-styled new Pioneer iPod dock, announced at CEDIA Expo in Atlanta, will arrive in Canada in November, says Gord Smith, Marketing Manager for Pioneer Electronics of Canada Inc. Expected to retail for $499, the XW-NAS3 combines a pair of full-range drivers mounted on either side of the cabinet with a downward-firing woofer. The XW-NAS3 is iPhone-certified, so the phone's wireless functions remain available while the phone is docked. The XW-NAS3 can charge all iPods (including the iPod Touch) and iPhones. With an optional AS-BT100 adapter, the XW-NAS3 can stream music wirelessly from Bluetooth devices.
