AVG Technologies, a developer of free anti-virus software, has expanded its distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Inc. to offer its Business claim security products to Canadian resellers through the volume licensing and retail channels.

AVG claims to be the world's fourth-largest anti-virus vendor, with 80 million active users, the majority located within North America. This new agreement will make the company's products available to more than 5,000 resellers in Canada.

Resellers in North America that are already partnered with AVG will have the option to continuing to work directly with the firm, or through Ingram Micro.
