Walmart Canada is following suit with Future Shop and opening select stores at mdnight this Saturday in celebration of the availability of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on Blu-ray and DVD.

A total of 134 of the retailers stores will open after the clock strikes 12 so that anxious teens, tweens, and "Twi-hards" can purchase the highly-anticipated flick. According to Walmart, the first Twilight DVD broke sales records when it was released last year.

In addition to the film, Walmart will be capitalizing on the success by also offering the movie's soundtrack, a board game, puzzle, book, fleece throw, decorative cushions, and T-shirts.

Stores will open at 12:01 a.m. through to 1 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010. See www.walmart.ca for a complete list of participating stores, which include all provinces except for Quebec.
