Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings (CSRH), the parent company of SiriusXM Canada Inc., has reported its Q1 2012 results. CSRH merged Sirius and XM last year, and combined the financial records of both companies, to offer year-over-year comparisons.
It has been revealed that the company saw revenues jump 6.6% to $63.1 million, compared to the $59.2 million in revenue it brought in during the same period a year ago.
As of November 30, 2011, the company's total number of subscribers grew 12.1% to more than two million. This is up from the 1.8 million total subscriber totals reported in 2010.
Meanwhile, self-paying subscriber numbers rose 13.8% from 1.2 million on November 30, 2010, to 1.4 million last year.
The SiriusXM Canada merger closed in June 2011.
