Samsung has launched the latest version of its Galaxy Android phone the Spica, in Canada through Rogers Wireless.
The touch-screen phone is powered by the Android operating system, and affords simple connection to social networking services like Facebook and Twitter, as well as Google Apps via the 800 MHz application processor.
The Spica, which operates on the EDGE/HSDPA network, boasts a 3.2" touch-screen (320 x 480 resolution), and, for the first time on one of Samsung's Android phones, DivX support for displaying videos in a variety of file formats without conversion.
Additional features include DNSe 2.0, Samsung's proprietary audio enhancement technology, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, 3 MP digital camera, Web browser, e-mail support, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0, and microSD memory card support (180 MB of internal memory).
The Samsung Galaxy Spica sells for $79.99 on three-year voice and data plan that's at least $45.

We want the nexus! If the new cellular company want to get new customer from other big carrier they should try to get new product first. Good for Rogers, they have now a nice selection of android Device.
